During Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, DC SAFE hosts its flagship Keep DC SAFE Event, a gathering to honor the community partners who make our work possible and celebrate the progress we’ve achieved together. It is also a moment of solidarity, raising critical funds for DC SAFE and bringing attention to the ongoing impact of domestic violence in our city. The DC SAFE dash 5K & Half is an empowering community event that directly supports survivors of domestic violence. Whether you walk, jog, or run, participation in our charity run during Domestic Violence Awareness Month helps raise awareness and vital funds for DC SAFE. Every step provides critical support for the essential resources survivors need as they move toward safety and healing.
