Get connected to a DC SAFE ADVOCATE

To speak to an advocate in the DC area, visit one of our Domestic Violence Intake Centers.

The Domestic Violence Intake Centers are:

  1. One-stop-shops for survivors seeking information about resources, emergency services, and legal remedies;

  2. Accessible by various forms of public transportation;

  3. Wheelchair accessible.

DC SAFE Advocates are available at the Domestic Violence Intake Centers to help survivors of Intimate Partner Violence and/or Sexual Assault. All DC SAFE services are free and confidential. For more information about the DC Superior Court’s Domestic Violence Unit, click here.

You do not need an appointment or ID to speak with a DC SAFE Advocate.  All services are free and confidential.
